YouSkill ("we") takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the YouSkill iOS app.

Information Collection

YouSkill does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. We do not use any analytics tools, advertising trackers, or third-party data collection services.

Local Storage

The following data is stored only on your device and is not accessible to us:

• Favorites — Your bookmarked Skills
• App Settings — Language preferences, target translation language, etc.
• Translation Model Configuration — API base URL, API key, and model name that you configure

This data is stored in iOS UserDefaults and is never uploaded to any server.

Network Requests

YouSkill communicates with the following services:

• YouSkill API (api.youskill.cc) — To fetch Skill listings and file contents. No personal user data is transmitted.
• Your Translation Service — When you use the translation feature, the app sends file content to the OpenAI-compatible API endpoint you configured. We do not process or store these requests.

Third-Party Services

YouSkill does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The app does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework as there is no tracking of any kind.

Data Security

Your translation API key is stored locally in UserDefaults on your device. We recommend not sharing your device with others to keep your API key secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
